Features

Your Astro workflow, connected

An Electron desktop app that brings your project files and command-line tools into one workspace.

The agent

Claude Code or Codex, in your workspace

Astrology launches your installed agent CLI in the selected project folder and displays its responses and tool output. Authentication and model access come from that CLI.

  • Propose: a planning or read-only session
  • Edit: let the agent write project files
  • Autonomous: broader access to commands
  • Continue or reset the conversation for each project and agent
The workspace

From route tree to live preview

Import a folder or create an Astro site from a template. Explore its routes, layouts, endpoints and detected collections alongside the local preview.

  • Start and stop the project's dev server
  • Open a page from the route tree
  • Install project dependencies
  • Follow processes and exit codes in the logs
Pages and content

Edit what you can see

Select an element in the preview to inspect its text and supported attributes. Astrology writes the change when it finds a unique literal match in the source.

  • Change text, links and supported image attributes
  • Create, duplicate, move and delete pages
  • Reuse an existing layout for a new page
  • Inspect translation dictionaries and missing keys
Checks and publishing

Inspect, commit, build and deploy

Run diagnostics, inspect dependency updates and save changes with Git. Publish through the hosting CLI connected to your account.

  • Missing images, internal links and translation checks
  • Dependency updates and upgrade blockers
  • Git status, change summary, history, commit, push and pull
  • Preview and production deploy actions for Vercel, Netlify and Cloudflare
